President’s Message for June 2025

Dear fellow Rotarians and friends,

As my term draws to a close, I look back with immense pride and heartfelt gratitude. It has been a true honour to serve as President of the Rotary E-Club of 3310.

This year, our club has achieved several meaningful milestones. We were recognised with the Excellence Club Award with Merit, Community Service Distinction Award, and Club Image Merit Award — testaments to the dedication, teamwork, and passion of our members. These awards reflect not just what we’ve done, but who we are as Rotarians — People of Action.

Our charity movie fundraiser for Project Ray of Hope is a major highlight for June 2025. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the hard work of our members, especially our Organizing Chair PP Vicky Soo, we were able to support this important cause and bring hope to those who need it most.

We want to thank District 3310 Grant Committee for the formal approval of US$10k DDF towards our Gift of Sight Indonesia 2025 Global Grant. With this, we are now able to raise US$23.4k against the budget of US$70.3k. So there is still much work to be done to close the gap before we can submit to TRF for formal approval.

Throughout the year, we welcomed many visitors to our club meetings, adding vibrancy and fresh perspectives. A special thank you to our Vocational Speakers; your contributions made each meeting insightful and memorable.

A big “thank you” goes to the Board of Directors who have given their unwavering support, thanks for the kind words, hard work and inspirations. We shall pass this legacy to the future leaders of the club.

Personally, I have given this role my very best. The experiences, the growth, the friendships, and “yes”, the fun shall stay with me for a long time. It’s been a rewarding journey, and I am deeply grateful for the support and camaraderie of every club member.

To all of you: “Thank you for walking this journey with me. Let’s continue to serve with purpose, lead with compassion, and inspire hope wherever we go.”

Yours in Rotary,
Stephanie Song
