President’s Message for July 2023

Dear fellow Rotarians,

It is with much trepidation that I agreed to take on the role of President of the Rotary E-club of 3310 for the Rotary Year 2023-2024. But I have the assurance of support from all fellow Board members and Club Leadership Programme (CLP) Chairs that they and their teams will work together with me to Create Hope in the World, the theme for Rotary District 3310 in 2023-2024.

President James Tian and his Team have successfully Imagined Rotary in the 2022-2023 term. For the 2023-2024 term, my Team and I look forward to bringing together like-mined individuals – fellow Rotarians, friends of Rotary and all who are committed to making a difference to the lives of others – to Create Hope by providing opportunities for positive change to make the world a better place to live, work and age gracefully.

Through Fellowship and embracing the Rotary’s 5 Avenues of Service, namely, Club Service, Community Service, International Service, Youth Service and Vocational Service, my Team and I shall work towards making our Club a magnet for members to come together for fellowship and to actively participate in meaningful projects amongst ourselves as well as in collaboration with Rotarians across the network of Rotary Clubs in, and outside of Singapore.

We already have a number of flagship projects helmed by our Community Service and Youth Service Teams, such as Ray of Hope, Gift of Sight, Happy Meals. Going forward, we can identify and initiate new and/or enhance on-going projects that will not only make a difference to the lives of target beneficiaries, but also bring fulfilment, personally and professionally, to our members and well-wishers. Let us make the 2023-2024 term exciting and exhilarating for all our current and new members. We shall Create Hope in the World while building relationships, and cherishing lasting memories of the good times we have together.
