A summary of our HappyMeals Community Service Programme for 1st half Rotary Year 2023-2024
HappyMeals Rotary TEAM comprises of all donors, friends of Rotary & fellow Rotarians who hag contributed in cash or kind and active participation in the packaging distribution of provisions and HappyMeals distribution in Chinatown and Waterloo community. This year, we did not distribute HappyMeals to senior homes due to lack of funds.
Thank you to our donors , friends of Rotary and fellow Rotarians for your generous donations, support and participation for our HappyMeals community service program.
Our monthly 1st Saturday HRHS Provision Packing & Distribution @Toa Payoh and we successfully raised rice, biscuits and noodles for 1,000 low income families monthly and assisted to pack 28 items into 1,000 goodies bag.
We had successfully raised 100 HappyMeals 48 out of 53 Sundays (4,800 HappyMeals) and bring joy and smiles to the Waterloo community. A big thank you to all the volunteers for your passion and compassion to serve the community.
For our Chinatown community , we managed to raise funds and distributed 6x (2nd Saturdays) and 8x (weekdays) amounting to 3,000 HappyMeals distributed to the seniors and low income families.
