President’s Message for November 2025: Rotary Foundation Month

Monday, 3 November 2025 | View:

“Doing Good in the World Begins with Us.”

Dear Fellow Rotarians and Friends,

As we step into November, we celebrate one of the most meaningful aspects of Rotary-The Rotary Foundation. This month reminds us that our small acts of service, when united through the Foundation, have the power to change countless lives across the world.

The Rotary Foundation is more than just a fund-it is the beating heart of Rotary’s mission. Through it, we transform generosity into action, turning donations into clean water, literacy programs, disease prevention, maternal and child health, scholarships, peace initiatives, and sustainable community development. Every dollar we contribute becomes a beacon of hope for someone, somewhere.

Our commitment to the Foundation is a reflection of our belief in a better, fairer, and more peaceful world. Whether we support PolioPlus, Global Grants, or District Projects, we are part of something far greater than ourselves-a network of compassion that reaches every corner of the earth.

This month, I encourage each member to:
  • Learn more about the impact of the Rotary Foundation.
  • Contribute what you can—because every gift, no matter how small, counts.
  • Share stories of how Rotary has touched lives, both near and far, to inspire your contacts and friends to join our club and the Rotary family.
Together, let us continue to “Create Hope in the World” by fueling the good work of our Foundation. Let our generosity SHINE a light that guides communities toward health, peace, prosperity, and a better future.

Thank you for embodying the true spirit of Rotary-Service Above Self !

Unite For Good,
Dr. (h.c) Gracy Yap
