2026 – A New Year of Service, Creating Hope & Impact

Dear Fellow Rotarians and Friends,

Happy New Year!

As we step into a brand new year, I extend my warmest wishes to you and your loved ones. I am filled with gratitude and pride for the good we have achieved together as Rotarians. The year ahead brings a new start and fresh opportunities—to serve with renewed energy, to lead with compassion, and to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Rotary reminds us that Service Above Self is not just a motto, but a way of life. Each project we undertake, each partnership we build, and each hand we extend strengthens our shared mission to create positive and lasting change in our communities and beyond. In the coming year, may we continue to listen deeply, act boldly, and serve wholeheartedly, I am pleased to announce our successful submission of GG2574303 for Gift of Sight @Bandung 2025 to The Rotary Foundation for the Rotary Year 2025-2026, a project that took our Charter President Chew Ban Seng, the international partner Project Lead, and DGN PP Efi (RC Bandung) the local partner Project Lead, almost a year to put together. 500 eye cataract operations will help restore the vision of the less privileged farmers in Bandung, mostly breadwinners. On giving, I am proud to announce that our club is a 100% TRF and Polio Plus club and we emerged 3rd place in District 3310 for these achievements recently.

We are also blessed to have our Partner in Service, Chef Ahmet Akpinar, Mediterranean Deli Turk, who will be sponsoring meals every second Thursday to Gladiolus Place from 2nd Thursday 8 January 2026 for the next six months. This is kindly arranged by Rotarian Cindy Yen (Community Service Director 2024 – 2025).

8 January is a big day for Rotary E-Club of 3310 – it’s our upcoming AGM where we shall be encouraging new blood and members to step up and serve on the Board of Directors 2026-2027. Indeed, there’s much to look forward to in 2026! Let us remember that Fellowship is also the heartbeat of our Rotary Cub and I wish to thank my BOD and all Rotarians who made our annual Christmas Fellowship Party in December 2025 a resounding success!

The New Year is also a time for reflection and hope. Let us carry forward the lessons of the past, celebrate the friendships we have forged, and embrace new ideas that will amplify our impact. Together, we can inspire others through our actions and demonstrate the true power of service.

Thank you for your commitment, generosity, and unwavering Rotary spirit. I look forward to another year of meaningful service, fellowship, and shared success. Wishing you and your loved ones a New Year filled with good health, joy, and purposeful service.

Warmest Wishes

Unite For Good,
Dr. (h.c) Gracy Yap
President, Rotary E-Club 0f 3310 (2025-2026)
