President’s Message for September 2022

GREETINGS, MY DEAR Eclubbers and friends

I am sure you are having a wonderful time in this Imagine Rotary year . During the past month we have participated in the Step up end polio program and some of us are clocking our steps to participate in the Step up challenge Some have contributed financially to the End polio fund.

Imagine doing good by sharing a meal and getting a bottle of premium whiskey when you donate to our FRCS charitable acts.

Our imagination went across the borders to Pontian where we visited the RC Pontian palliative care kidney dialysis and physiotherapy Centers.

Our club members under the leadership of PP Richard are actively involved in the Happy meal’s community project and our club was able to sponsor the meals for the Home of the aged sick in Hougang Last but not least in this month of Basic education and Literacy our club PP Edmund. Chairman of Project Starfish and Rtn Samuel Ang continue their efforts to enable students locally and overseas to achieve their goals in learning English Mathematics and financial literacy.

Looking forward to the month of October : Economic and community development focus where our club under the leadership of VP Vicky is organising a fund raiser for our Elderly care centre All donors giving more than $100 will be given a treat to watch a special movie entitled Ticket to Paradise.
