President’s Message for July 2020

As the sun rises on the 1st of July I take on a great responsibility to lead my club, Rotary E-Club of 3310, into a new chapter. President Teressa will be handing over the baton to me and I am humbled and thankful to the club members and BOD who have put their trust in me to lead the club.
The coming year will be challenging, given the pandemic all of us are facing, but in adversity lies opportunity, true to the theme of 2020-21, “Rotary Opens Opportunities.”
We will be kicking off the new year with two projects. D3310 Covid-19 Disaster Relief Fundraiser Virtual Concert which is led by our newest and youngest member Gabrielle Guo. Secondly we will be supporting RC Queenstown on the 10th Anniversary for International Nurses Day to show our appreciation to our frontline care-takers who are always beside us.
As the new Rotary chapter opens let’s find strength in unity and diversity. Let’s rise up to the challenge and look forward to a successful year ahead.
