President’s Message for September 2020

Tuesday, 1 September 2020 | View:

As we move into the third month of the Rotary year, the challenge COVID-19 poses us becomes even more real. Let us continue to persevere and look for opportunities to engage and connect with our community and with our club.

Special thanks to our Rotarians who had contributed to Rotary Club of Kluang Gift of Love Project. Although relatively small, we are able to help the 21 beneficiaries with food and other rations on a monthly basis for a year.

October 24th is World Polio day and District 3310 has launched several programs to draw attention to Rotary’s ongoing goal to end polio worldwide. This month Africa declared the continent to be polio-free. This marks an important and huge milestone. Let us continue to support the goal to eradicate polio worldwide. The District of 3310 has launched a “Step Up to End Polio” campaign. Achieve one or both of two goals. 1. Steps Challenge – Complete 250k steps. 2. Weight loss of 3kg or more. Make a donation or pledge. Please lend your support.

Within the club let’s look at ways on how we can engage our members and strengthen our bonds. I urge all members to visit the Resources Section on My Rotary to learn and discover opportunities to strengthen your resolve as a Rotarian.

Sincerely,
Eddie Ho
President Rotary E-Club of 3310
